The Monticello Central School District is encouraging all families to opt-in to receive text/SMS messages from the district’s notification platform, SchoolMessenger.
On Thursday, Oct. 8, the district sent out a text message to all mobile numbers on file prompting users to opt-in to receive messages. If you did not receive this message, you either do not have your mobile number in our system, or your mobile number is marked as your “home” phone number. The platform can only send text/SMS messages to phone numbers that are marked as “mobile.”
If you wish to receive text messages from the district about important information, and have not received an opt-in text, please update your SchoolMessenger information. To learn more about how to update preferences, please visit the SchoolMessenger webpage.
