We are pleased to announce Monticello High School and Robert J. Kaiser Middle School will be hosting our inaugural STREAM Fair/Activity Night. This event will have a variety of STEM activities for middle school and high school students. In addition, students will be able to demonstrate lab experiments or projects they have completed related to STREAM.
Students will be offered the opportunity to participate in a STREAM challenge from their science and/or IT teachers prior to the event. The middle school STREAM challenge involves designing a water filter to purify water, and the high school STREAM challenge involves building a device that will assist a person with a disability accomplish a task. Students who choose to participate will present their final product at the STREAM fair, and have their work judged by the STREAM committee.
Students, parents and community members are welcome to attend the event — students do not have to have participated in the STREAM challenge to attend. We are excited to see you all there!
