Earlier today, our administrators learned of an alleged conversation among students that may have included language alluding to a threat of violence. Our administrators have interviewed the students involved, and have contacted law enforcement regarding the alleged incident. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement, and have conferred with them on their findings.
If any additional steps are necessary, we will communicate them with you, however the alleged threats do not appear credible at this time. Our schools and activities will remain open.
The district’s top priority is always the safety of its students and staff. Please be assured that we take these reports seriously, and will use every resource available to ensure school safety.
Our administrators, staff, and school resource officers are available to students should they need any support.
