Students from the St. John Street preschool toured their new school earlier today to get a feel for what to expect when they enter kindergarten in the fall. They had the opportunity to visit the library, grab snacks from the lunch line and eat (and clean up after themselves) in the cafeteria and listen to kindergarten teachers read stories. Of course, no visit to kindergarten is complete without a trip to the playground. The students played on the slide, swings, and the “climby thing” (as they put it).
When asked what their favorite part of the day was, the “climby thing” was the clear winner!
