RJK staff participate in Pink & Denim Day to raise money for breast cancer awareness

a group of teachers wearing pink shirts and denim jeans are posing on the stairsOctober is Breast Cancer Awareness month and each year on the first Friday in October the RJK staff participate in “Pink and Denim” day.  Our staff put on their pink shirts, jeans, and donate money for Breast Cancer Awareness.  In past years the donations have helped staff members that were fighting their own fight against cancer or donated to the American Cancer Society.  This year the money collected is going to “Ride 2 Survive”.  Members of the MTA will be collecting money for the next two weeks in our building for the “Ride 2 Survive” Organization.  “Ride 2 Survive” is a community-based volunteer organization that assist cancer patients with transportation expenses and rides to and from appointments.   The RJK “family” is a very supportive group of people and always come together to help and support one another or a great cause.
