Dear Monticello CSD Community Member,
Earlier today, we received notice that an individual in Kenneth L. Rutherford Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19. This individual was last in the school on Monday, September 13.
Rutherford ES administration determined this person was in contact with approximately seven (7) others who, we believe, will most likely be quarantined by Sullivan County Public Health. We have informed all of those who have been identified as tentative contacts. We are also coordinating contact tracing with Sullivan County Public Health Services.
All areas of the school have been regularly disinfected, and we’ll continue to disinfect our schools consistent with our COVID-19 protocols.
If you or your child are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your health care provider.

Hoy temprano, recibimos un aviso de que una persona en la Escuela Primaria
Kenneth L. Rutherford dio positivo por COVID-19. Este individuo estuvo por última vez en la escuela el lunes 13 de septiembre.
La administración de Rutherford ES determinó que esta persona estaba en contacto con aproximadamente siete (7) otras personas que, creemos, probablemente serán puestas en cuarentena por Salud Pública del Condado de Sullivan. Hemos informado a todos aquellos que han sido identificados como contactos provisionales. También estamos coordinando el rastreo de contactos con los Servicios de Salud Pública del Condado de Sullivan.
