On Saturday, Aug. 31, the Monticello My Brother’s Keeper program, in collaboration with Sullivan County NAACP and the Black Library distributed back to school supplies to the Monticello community.
“We served approximately 150 students representing grades PreK-12. We provided them with everything they needed from backpacks to scientific calculators for our high school students,” said Director of Student Support Services Tokinma Killins. “At a time when everyone is feeling the financial pinch we were able to relieve many members of the community by taking care of this task which can be cost prohibitive for many.”
