Monticello High School Trap Team dominates state tournament

On June 8, the Monticello High School Trap Team attended the state tournament in Syracuse with 16 students.  91 schools from all over New York State were present that day, with 897 student athletes registered. 

 
*  The Monticello JV Team took home 2nd Place for the day with combined scoring by Nick Carroll, Jaden Washington, Kenny Walz, Liam Brasington, and Dominic Giorgianni.  
*  The Varsity Team took 1st Place with scoring from Leo Messenger, Dillon Cole, Chase McFarland, Jake Hovis, and Will Reilly.  
*  For Overall Top Team Score for the tournament, Monticello again won 1st Place, with the top scores from Messenger, Cole, McFarland, Hovis and Carroll.  
*  Carroll and Cole also earned recognition for each shooting perfect individual rounds of 25.
