The ceremony honored each inductee’s remarkable contributions to their respective careers, and to the Monticello community.  The ceremony opened with a performance from student musicians and vocalists. After each inductee was introduced by their nominator, they took the microphone to share the impact that Monticello Central School District had on their career. Suzanne Dollard, great-granddaughter of Emma C. Chase, accepted the award on Chase’s behalf.

The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of each inductee’s plaque on the wall outside the MHS Auditorium. The plaques were hung alongside past Hall of Distinction honorees and commemorated the professional achievements of this year’s inductees. Similar to past honorees, the success of the Hall of Distinction, Class of 2024 is forever enshrined, serving as an inspiration for future Monticello generations.
