Monticello High School runners Baya Titus and Diya Patel are headed up to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Cross Country Championships, and the entire MHS community came out to send them off in style. The school held a surprise send-off, with students and staff lining the hallways and cheering as the two athletes walked to their waiting car, which was flanked by Sullivan County Sheriff vehicles flashing their lights in celebration.
The championships will be held on Sunday, Nov. 16 in Queensbury, New York. Please join us in wishing Baya and Diya a successful competition!
