Kenneth L. Rutherford Elementary School, Robert J. Kaiser Middle School and Monticello High School were placed on a brief lockout this afternoon, after students at Rutherford ES reported seeing an adult attempt to jump over a fence near the playground on school property. Consistent with our safety protocols, we immediately contacted law enforcement and placed these three schools on a lockout. After an investigation, law enforcement determined that no threat existed. The lockout was lifted, and operations resumed as normal.
