Join us for: Behavior Management at Home: Strategies for Everyday Success on Oct. 9

MCSD parents and guardians — join us on Wednesday, October 9th at 5:30 p.m. at George Cooke Elementary to learn important behavioral management strategies to help children improve their communication, avoid challenging behaviors, and develop the self-confidence to advocate for themselves and make positive decisions.

This workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Ben Lester who has more than 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, professor, administrator, and educational coach, specializing in evidence-based behavior management and conflict resolution strategies. He has been working with our educators to empower them to use these strategies in the classroom, and this workshop will offer our families the opportunity to learn these same skills.

We highly encourage you to attend this informative session so you can reinforce some of these principles at home and help our collective efforts to create a healthy school community — in and out of the classroom!

Please note that although the workshop is being held at Cooke Elementary, the workshop is open, and relevant to all MCSD families
