On Monday, Sept. 11, during the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) mandated workshop, former Monticello Athletic Director and current Director of School Safety and SJS Assistant Principal Doug Murphy was presented the Dr. William F. Moran Service Award. This award is presented annually to an educator in Section IX who has been universally recognized as representing the highest educational standards as established by Dr. Moran during his career. Mr. Murphy is pictured with Washingtonville Athletic Director and Awards Committee Chair, Suzanna Lendzian and Monticello Athletic Director Ryan Jasper. Congratulations to Mr. Murphy for receiving this well-deserved recognition.
