If you’ve been in the vicinity of Forestburgh Road over the past week, you may have noticed demolition crews hard at work demolishing the old bus garage. On July 18, the last brick of the bus garage fell. After the debris is cleared, the area will be transformed into parking for the district’s fleet of buses.

The bus garage, which had fallen into significant disrepair over the last few decades, was replaced by the district’s new transportation and facilities center.

The project is part of the capital improvement project approved by voters in 2018, and does not impact the district’s tax levy. The district thanks its residents for its support as we forge ahead on our journey to becoming a district of choice.
