Students in Mrs. Liebman’s kindergarten class and Mrs. Kilcoin’s second-grade class at the George L. Cooke Elementary School read the book Balloons Over Broadway. After reading the book the students made their very own balloons so they could participate in their own version of Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade. Mrs. Liebman’s students stood in front of a green screen and had their photo taken and then Tech Integration Specialist Lisa Jamin imposed their images onto a turkey float in the parade. All of the students really enjoyed seeing this transformation.
