Thanks to Sullivan 180 and the hard work of the students at the St. John Street Community School, the building’s exterior has been spruced up. The school was the recipient of a Sullivan 180 beautification grant, and the SJS high schoolers completed the project under a crisp blue autumn sky on Monday, Oct. 17. 

The St. John Street Community School Preschool will host a Math and Movement Night for families on Thursday, Aug. 31 from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. at the SJS Gymnasium. The Parent Informational Session will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. 

St. John Street Community School Preschool families are invited to a Preschool Informational Night on Aug. 31 at 5:30 p.m. in the Eugene Nesin Theatre, located at the school, at 22 St. John Street. During this event, families can meet Principal Gorr, some teachers and tour the building. 

The high school seniors at the St. John Street Community School had the opportunity to attend a Legislative Committee meeting at the Sullivan County Government Center to watch local officials in action.
