During its March 16 meeting, the Board of Education honored Monticello High School athlete, Aaliyah Mota, for scoring 1,000 points during her time on the Lady Panthers basketball team with a Board Award. Board Awards honor remarkable members of the Monticello CSD community. Congratulations, Aaliyah!

Monticello Sophomore Alpine Ski sensation Alexis Heins was crowned the 2023 Girl’s Slalom New York State Champion at Bristol Mountain on Monday, Feb. 27. She won with a time of 1:36.97. Congratulations to Alexis and Coach Bittinger!
On Saturday, Feb. 25, Monticello Senior hurdler Taina DeJesus placed second in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.91 seconds at the Indoor Track State Qualifiers at the Armory in New York City.
