KLR students create snowflake designs

Inspired by the Caldecott winning book Snowflake Bentley by Jacqueline Briggs Martin, Kenneth L. Rutherford Elementary students applied what they learned in library from Snowflake Bentley’s amazing photographs and the science of snowflakes to create their own unique snowflake designs using Lego bricks, pattern blocks, and paper. Varsity girls basketball team celebrates senior night

On Thursday, Feb. 16, the Varsity Girls Basketball team honored seniors Aaliyah Mota, Andraya Young, Julia Kurthy, Gianna DeMaio and Janee Vias prior to their game against Port Jervis. Kaitlyn Morse qualifies for NYS Championships

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Morse for placing fifth at the Section 9 Nordic Ski  Championships at Gore Mountain Ski Bowl on Tuesday Feb. 14.  This fifth-place finish qualified Kaitlyn for the New York State Championships which will take place on Feb. 27 and 28 at Harriet Hollister Park near Bristol, New York. Boys basketball and cheerleading teams celebrate senior night

Alpine ski celebrates senior night on Feb. 10

Ms. Dutcher and Ms. D’Agata’s class complete scavenger hunt

On Feb. 6, Ms. Dutcher and Ms. D’Agata’s class completed a scavenger hunt around the school. Mrs. Trone and Mrs. Belgiovene’s class enjoys a drone demonstration from Trooper Sawyer
