MHS woodworking students create benches for athletic fields

Students in Don Waddell’s woodworking class at Monticello High School, including athletes Aaliyah Mota, Kayla Collins, Ellie Ocampo and Alex Dietz, collaborated with the athletic department to construct four new 16-foot benches for the district’s athletic fields. The benches will be utilized by our Panthers for years to come. Kudos to all! 

JV/Varsity baseball teams lead baseball clinic with Little League

On Saturday, March 25, members of the Monticello JV and Varsity baseball teams led a baseball clinic with the Monticello Little League. The student athletes served as instructors and taught their younger counterparts proper fielding, sliding and hitting drills. They even worked with the younger players on their pitching skills.
