How important is it for our children to be in school?
It has been proven that our children are more likely to succeed if they are in school. Every school day counts! The Emma C. Chase Elementary School team has created an attendance initiative by recording attendance percentages weekly by grade level. The percentages for the prior week are calculated and displayed in the lobby with first and second-place winners recognized. At the start of each week, the winning grade levels are announced during our morning announcements. At the end of each month, the entire school attendance is recorded and added to a bar graph.
