AOF mentors grow strong partnerships with students

Monticello High School Academy of Finance’s (AOF) Board of Advisors Mentor Team had a busy day on Friday, Nov. 15, when they visited with AOF students. This group of business leaders volunteer their time to support the AOF, which provides its students with a host of financial education and business opportunities throughout the program’s four-year course of study.

The group teamed up with their senior student mentees and visited ninth graders enrolled in the AOF to highlight the importance of the mentee program, and the benefits that it offers – including personal development, career advancement and a strong network. The morning class wrapped up with a team-building “web of connectedness” exercise.
