Monticello High School’s Student Council is holding its first fundraiser of the 2019-20 school year: Yankee Candle.
The Yankee Candle fundraiser is the first of several that the group plans to organize throughout the school year. The proceeds will go towards College in the Classroom (CIC) Scholarships, cap and gown assistance, funding for the upcoming school store and other events and initiatives throughout the year. Pending Board approval, the student council also hopes to build a bench in memory of Joe Salthouse, a member of the Monticello family who passed away earlier this year.
