Nine MHS students recognized as Students of Distinction

On April 10, 2025, in the high school library, nine students were recognized as Monticello High School Students of Distinction for the third quarter. The Monticello Student of Distinction Award was created to recognize and award students who demonstrate behavior and/or achievement above and beyond expectations.  These students were nominated by their teachers and were chosen among several nominees to receive this quarter’s award. Each student is celebrated today and will be celebrated throughout the school year. They are a shining example of excellence in our school community.
Opening remarks were given by Assistant Principal Robert Keesler who also stood in to present some of the department awards. The following students were recognized. Congratulations to all the exemplary students.
