It’s Monday in Monticello – time for Superintendent Matt Evans’ weekly update to the Monticello community. In this episode, more information about a proposed “bell-to-bell” ban on personal electronic devices that would require all students to keep their cell phones and other personal devices turned off and stored away from the beginning of the school day until dismissal time in the 2025-26 school year. Dr. Evans explains the district’s rationale, the anticipated benefits and offers three opportunities for the community to come out and learn more about these proposed changes.
