Monticello – The Monticello Central School District will serve as the host for this year’s Sullivan County Music Educators’ Association All-County Music Festival. The festival takes place over two days, culminating in three concert performances on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
More than 500 young musicians from eight school districts in Sullivan County have been selected to participate in this year’s festival. Students will work with notable guest conductors from throughout the United States on Friday, March 7 and during the day on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
The concerts on March 8th will feature the following All-County performing groups:
- Concert I – 1:00 PM – Elementary Chorus and Middle School Band
- Concert II – 3:00 PM – Senior High Mixed Chorus, Junior High Band, and Senior High Treble Chorus
- Concert III – 5:00 PM – Senior High Jazz Band and Junior High String Orchestra
Concerts will take place in the Monticello High School Arnold Packer Hughs Auditorium at 39 Breakey Avenue, Monticello, New York. Students have already had the opportunity to pre-order tickets. Remaining tickets will be available first-come, first-serve and are $8 each. The Monticello Schools have event safety as a top priority – ALL CONCERT AUDIENCE WILL GO THROUGH A SECURITY CHECKPOINT WITH METAL DETECTORS. PLEASE LEAVE UNNECESSARY BAGS IN YOUR VEHICLE AND PERSONAL KNIVES ARE NOT PREMITTED INTO THE BUILDING.
