The 2024 Dick “Coach” O’Neill Jingle Ball Classic will be held at Monticello HS on December 20-21. This will be our 12th Classic and the 8th time we have used the tournament format. The games support our annual MHS Holiday Toy Drive. We will have some of Santa’s elves on hand to collect donations – monetary donations as well as items such as wrapping paper, self-adhesive gift tags, self-adhesive bows, and tape. PLEASE DO NOT BRING TOY DONATIONS – our toy drive committee works with Sullivan County Head Start and wish lists from the children there.
We will have a trophy for 1st and 2nd place, and the Tournament MVP; All-tournament selections will be given a certificate. We will also have t-shirts for the winning team, designed and printed by my daughter and scorekeeper, Regina Russo. Awards are for varsity only. I am hopeful that Coach O’Neill will be on hand to distribute awards
JV teams will play the same opponent as the varsity games on both days, All JV games will be played in our Middle School.
