On Friday, May 17 the 7/8 Concert Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Marissa Jurow, performed at the “Music in the Parks” ensemble festival at Manalapan High School and Six Flags in New Jersey, where they placed 1st in their ensemble category and received “Excellent” Distinction! The festival is held annually across the United States. Music groups perform before adjudicators who rate the ensemble in the morning, and then spend the day at an amusement park. The day culminates with an awards ceremony.
