On Friday May 5, the George L. Cooke Elementary School had their school spirit assembly for the month of April. During the school spirit assembly awards are given out to the best classes for their hallway behavior, lunch room behavior, special area such as (Library, Art, Gym & Music) and a SEW (social emotional wellness) behavior.
For the month of April, the following awards were presented:
Special area: Mrs. Ruston’s second-grade class
SEW award: Ms. Dutcher and Miss D’Agata second-grade class
Keeping the lunch area clean: Mrs. Bitjeman’s second-grade class
Best hallway behavior: Mrs. Moore and Mrs. VanderMeulen’s kindergarten class
