Mrs. Boffa and Ms. Kelleher’s classes at the Robert J. Kaiser Middle School made Roman roads out of graham cracker crumbs, mini-Oreos, crushed Oreos and whole graham crackers. Students learned how the Romans layered their roads to make them last. The activity included watching a video and answering questions about how Roman roads were made, drawing a diagram of a Roman road as well as building the road using fun food items!
