The Monticello Performing Arts students kicked off Music in Our Schools month with a successful Sullivan County Music Educators’ Association All-County Music Festival on Sunday, March 6.
The Liberty Central School District housed the event, which not even a snowstorm could stop. The event, which is typically held over two or three days was condensed into one big day, courtesy of the winter weather. Performing arts students from throughout Sullivan County gathered to showcase their hard work. Monticello students participated in the Elementary Chorus, Middle School Band, Junior High Chorus, Junior High Band, Senior High Jazz Band, and Senior High Mixed Chorus.
