The Every Person Influences Children (EPIC) program will host a virtual workshop for Monticello families on Wednesday, February 23 at 6:30PM via Zoom. Participants will gather to hear from nutritionist Bee Moser, M.S. from SNAP-ED New York – Cornell Cooperative Extension to learn how to eat on a budget and the health benefits of cooking with your family.
There will even be a cooking demo via Zoom. In addition, Fidelis Care will be providing families who register by Feb. 22 a bag of groceries to participate in the event with their child. Fidelis and SNAP-ED-CCE are sponsors of this event.
The event is free, but registration is required. Please email Jane Sorensen at JSorensen@k12mcsd.net to register or call (845) 807-6332.
