Dear Monticello CSD Community Member,
Earlier today, we received notice that two students at the St. John Street School tested positive for COVID-19. They were last in the school on Monday, September 20.
Robert J. Kaiser Middle School administration determined these students to be in contact with at least four (4) others who, we believe, will most likely be quarantined by Sullivan County Public Health. Contact tracing is ongoing, and we are coordinating it with Sullivan County Public Health Services. The affected class of these students will be on remote instruction.
All areas of the school have been regularly disinfected, and we’ll continue to disinfect our schools consistent with our COVID-19 protocols.
If you or your child are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please contact your health care provider.

Hoy, recibimos un aviso de que dos estudiantes de la escuela St. John Street dieron positivo por COVID-19. Estuvieron por última vez en la escuela el lunes 20 de septiembre. La administración de la Escuela Intermedia Robert J. Kaiser determinó que estos estudiantes deben estar en contacto con al menos cuatro (4) personas que, creemos, probablemente serán puestas en cuarentena por Salud Pública del Condado de Sullivan.
El rastreo de contactos está en curso y lo estamos coordinando con los Servicios de Salud Pública del Condado de Sullivan. La clase afectada de estos estudiantes recibirá instrucción remota.
