SUNY Sullivan Liberty Partnerships is offering three virtual after-school enrichment programs for students:
Be Proud! Be Responsible! is a seven-part curriculum that provides adolescents with the knowledge, motivation and skills necessary to change their behaviors in positive ways. Through fun and interactive learning experiences, your student will learn about safer sex, refusal skills, HIV and AIDS and much more.
Youth Development will focus on critical thinking skills in young adults. Topics will include leaders and followers, social and emotional awareness, why physical and mental health and wellness is important, modeling behavior and more.
American Sign Language for Beginners is a virtual after-school enrichment program teaching ASL, a complete, complex language that uses signs made by moving the hands combined with facial expressions and postures. It is the primary language of many who are deaf or hard of hearing.
