Monticello High School skiier Shane Bittinger had some impressive successes at the New York State championships, placing fifth in the Slalom and fourth in the Giant Slalom, and earning him a spot in the High School Eastern Championships, which will be held at Cannon Mountain in Franconia, NH March 6-8.
