The Monticello Board of Education presented 2022-23 co-student board members Leanna Auletta and Michael Feltman with plaques to commemorate their work in advocating on behalf of their peers at the highest level in the district throughout the school year. Congratulations to Taina DeJesus, who finished 4th in the 400-meter hurdles at the Track and Field New York State Championships on Friday, June 9, despite being seeded 14th overall. Taina is pictured below with Coach Seidl, Coach Buddenhagen, Coach MacAveney and Coach Sternkopf.
Each week, students at the Emma C. Chase Elementary School receive tickets from teachers and staff when they are “being a bucket filler” (aka being kind). At the end of the week, Ms. Swensen randomly draws from the pile of bucket filler tickets and awards the students with a small prize to celebrate their behavior. …

On Friday, June 9, Team Wolverine at the Robert J. Kaiser Middle School celebrated our diverse families with a Cultural Gala. Students dressed up, and brought in food and other items representing their culture to share with their classmates. Everyone had a blast! See more photos on Facebook
