There were three different summer programs available at Monticello for the 2003-2004 school year. These programs were: 

• Summer Reading Academy
• Summer Learning Academy
• Summer School program

This past summer, 246 Pre-K-2 students attended the 2003 Summer Reading academy, 175 3-8 students attended the Summer Learning Academy, and 571 students attended the Summer School program for grades 6-12. 

These programs were instilled to help students who were in need of extra help as well as offered exceptional students an opportunity to continue their studies throughout the summer.
