Details about individual programs
The Monticello Schools offer a wide range of opportunities for students
to receive help with their problems from other students. This helps all
students get along with one another, teaches tolerance and responsibility
as well as trust and companionship.
Some programs offered at the Monticello Schools are:
- SPARC program
- Support groups, such as Anger Management, Family Separation, Self
Esteem, Social Skills.
- Kids Care, which works on a community project.
- Tutoring
- Peer mediation
- Leadership training
- "Choices," alternative education for at-risk students
- After School Skills Recovery
- Assemblies
- Mentoring
- Migran Outreach Program, providing support to ELL students in the
district.
